Whatever work you can do yourself will save you money! Your home office space is probably not going to be too big, so consider painting the walls yourself. Adding a fresh, lively color or a sedate, calming color will set the tone for your work space. And if you’re not a pro at painting, never fear. Most of the space will be covered up with furniture anyway. If you’re feeling really creative, stencil a border around the desk. Or wallpaper one wall to define the space.

The easiest way to get down a staircase
Lets say you are sick of walking down the stairs but you don’t want to roll to the bottom or the railing is not strong enough to support you weight, what do you do? Well, for starters you could add a water park feature. Yep, just add a slide to the side if there is any space to hold it, but do remember to put something soft at the bottom (or a little pool with cold water). Your kids might use it for playing.

Putting the Outdoor Touch on Interior Walls
Probably the best thing to do is stick with the ordinary interior wall; painted or covered with wall paper. But if you have a wild side, how about taking a chance and use stones for a few of the walls inside your new home. Surely it would be hard to dust and hard to tell if it’s clean or if creepy crawlies would bug you but it would feel like the great outdoors.
